James A. Rhine

   James A. Rhine, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called home by our Lord and Savior. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Emma Rodgers Rhine and daughters Kathy Martini (husband Bill) and Kim Kelly (husband Len).

   He also leaves behind his grandchildren Douglass Kelly (wife Erika), Ryan Kelly and Michael Martini, and great-grandchildren, Kiera and Laila Kelly, sister Mary and many nieces and nephews.  Grandson, Lenny Kelly, was waiting to greet him on the other side. He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. and Anna M. Rhine, sister Jean Rupley, brother George and other siblings.

   Jim, HFD #62, retired from the City of Harrisburg Fire Department. He also volunteered for a time for Camp Hill Fire Department. He was an avid golfer. He enjoyed family time, especially time with "the kids". He made every Christmas special for his daughters.  He was always there for his wife and she for him through their 67 years of marriage. He had a good and generous heart. His family will always miss and love him. We treasure the good times and the love we shared with him.

   Visitation will be at Sullivan Funeral Home, 51 North Enola Drive, Enola, PA from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Services will begin at 11 a.m.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rhine family.

I practically grew up at his home. He was always so loving and sweet to all of us girls. He was very instrumental when my brother,David joined the fire department. He never said a bad word about anyone. He was very much loved by all. I will cherish him,and his family always.

a few times when either did
relief, over time or such changes
as I was B Platoon. It was always
