Andrew Stiner "Stiney" Thompson

Andrew Stiner "Stiney" Thompson, 91, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Summerdale passed away on November 12, 2016.

He was born in Dauphin, PA to the late John and Irene Thompson

He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII between 1943-1946.

He was the Lance Cracker man for many years. He then retired as a salesman from John Gross Foods in Mechanicsburg.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite V. Thompson, and sister, Jean Pottorff.

Surviving are his two children, Theresa Shumaker and Tom Thompson and his wife, Bonnie; a sister, Lily Mae Espenshade; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 10AM-11AM at Summerdale United Methodist Church 203 Second St. Summerdale PA 17093.

Services will begin at 11AM at the church.

Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to his church and Celtic Hospice 900 Century Dr. Suite 201 Mechanicsburg PA 17055.

We would like to thank the staff at Country Meadows in Mechanicsburg where he resided for their excellent care and love they always showed.
