Brenda S. Vazquez, 64, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully, at home on January 28th, 2019.
Brenda S. Vazquez was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Nancy and Dimko Angeloff Sr. on August 9th, 1954. She was a dedicated, long-time employee for the United States Postal Service. She was a free-spirited woman, who danced to the beat of her own drum. She will forever be remembered as having a heart of gold, and as a generous, caring, loving, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and best friend to all.
Brenda S. Vazquez is preceded in death by parents, Nancy J. Angeloff and Dimko V. Angeloff Sr., and brother, William J. Werner.
Brenda S. Vazquez is survived by her life-long companion, Edwin Vazquez. As well as her children, Melinda Smith and her husband Jason Smith; Chad Lynch and his wife Sarai Lynch; Edwin M. Vazquez (Boo) and Josh Osman; Her brothers, John Werner, Robert Staub, Dimko Angeloff, and Daniel Angeloff. Brenda is also survived by her grandchildren, Jaylyn Smith, Kailey Smith, Michael Lynch, Dawson Smith, Mya Gonzalez, Mikayla Lynch and Marcus Lynch.

The viewing will be held starting at 10 am Monday, February 4th at Sullivan Funeral Home, in Enola, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will continue at 11 am. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Brenda and I were friends since the early 80s and our days working at Dauphin Deposit Bank. We both left the bank and eventually worked at the Post Office together. I have known her children/family as well during these years. She was a good friend and will be missed. My sympathy to the family at this difficult time. Love…
My deepest sympathies to the Vazquez family. I truly will miss my friend, but she will always remain in my thoughts forever. We had a lot of great talks and times together. I am very saddened.
Brenda is one of my “forever” friends. We go a long way back. Years could go by but when she called me, we would pick right back up like it was only a day. I loved her like she was part of my family. She will truly be missed. RIH Sister/friend. You kids did a beautiful tribute for her and please tell Edwin I’m sorry that I didn’t recognize him. Love to you all.
Goodbye Brenda – We grew up in the same neighborhood in the Burg and did some fun things together. When I see the commercial about the DJ Nanna, I think of you back in the day as a DJ. We tried to have a softball team for Ted’s Tavern but we were bad….Not athletes! God Bless you and may you be with your Mom again. Sorry you didn’t get to enjoy more of your retirement.
