Daniel Matthew Keating, Sr.

Daniel Matthew Keating, Sr., passed away March 3, 2016, in his home surrounded by his loving
family.
He was born August 1, 1932, in Kaska, PA, son of Benjamin Keating and Catherine (Shields)
Keating, and stepmother Dorothy Keating.

He was a master carpenter at AMP, Inc., for 35 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he pitched for the Little Creek Amphibious Fleet baseball team.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Intrieri) Keating, and three children, Daniel Keating, Jr., (Kelly), Lisa Schlitzer, (Henry), and Laurie Duttry (Rudy). He was a cherished grandfather to Michael Keating (Tammy), Nathan Keating, Patrick Schlitzer, Keenan Turns, Nick Schlitzer, Julie Eichner (Scott), Nathan Lenz, and Shannon Lenz; a great grandfather to Devon, Hannah, Johnny, Maleah, Caleb and Colin. He is survived by his sisters Kathryn Watson, Margaret Acri (Charles), Mary Meiser (Richard), and Lucy McDonald, and brothers Larry Keating (Jan) and the late Benjamin Keating.
Daniel will be buried with a private internment at Fort Indiantown Gap at the convenience of his family.

 A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Enola, PA on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Homeland Hospice, the Cornelia de
Lange Syndrome Foundation, or Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Enola, PA.
