Geraldine Ethel Priar Eslinger of Church of God Home in Carlisle, PA died at the age of 96 in the West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg, PA on Friday, January 27, 2017.

Born January 17, 1921, in Mowersville, PA to Oscar David Priar, Sr. and Edna Mumma Priar.  She married Verne C. Eslinger March 9, 1937, and enjoyed 48 years of marriage until his death in 1985.

She was predeceased by husband Verne, her parents, and sister Mildred Hoffman and husband Don, sister Patricia Foreman and husband Dick, sister Joanne Marlett and husband Russell and by brother Oscar Priar, Jr. and wife Patty Jo, brother Robert Priar and wife Madelyn, brother Thomas Priar who is survived by his wife Marlyn of Enola.  Surviving also is brother James Priar and wife Karen of Mechanicsburg and sister Louise Bishop of Bryan, OH and deceased husband Louis.

Geraldine is survived by 2 sons, Ronald V. Eslinger, wife Beverly of Mechanicsburg and Larry C. Eslinger, wife Linda E. Eslinger and 1 daughter Sheila Good, husband Jeffrey of Harrisburg.

Predeceased was daughter Judy Watts in 2007, husband was Richard Watts, Jr. and daughter Dianne Eslinger in 1949.

Surviving are 10 grandchildren:  Michael Eslinger, Mark Eslinger, Christine Limric, Cheryl Shearer, LeAnne Couch, Jill Carr, Lisa Brooks, Heather Coughlin, Christopher Good and Jennifer Good.

Grandson Eugene Watts died in 2014.  Also surviving 16 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Geraldine was a member of the Enola First Church of God.  She retired from Food Fair after 30 years.

She lived 26 years at the Susquehanna View Apts., loved playing cards, bingo and pool, had a ready quip and a smile for everyone, was ready to help anyone.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 10AM-11AM at Enola First Church of God 9 Sherwood Dr. Enola PA 17025. 

Services will begin at 11AM. Burial will be in Enola Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Enola First Church of God.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Eslinger family.
