Jesse Wittke Lycett

Jesse Wittke Lycett was given as a gift to the world on March 13, 1985 in Mount Lebanon PA and went back to God on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Santa Cruz CA.

He was such a beautiful baby that strangers would stop the stroller to look at him. Animals, even wild animals, were inexplicably drawn to him. His teachers would say that he marched to a different drummer.

Jesse was always a free spirit; sensitive and caring and a gifted artist. He was loved by many and despised by a few; as he knew instinctively what anyone he met cared deeply about.

The joy of his life was his three daughters: Ariel Lycett, Jaiden Lycett, and Avelin Lycett. He would delight them by playing Barbie’s, watching Disney movies, feeding the ducks at the park, and letting them paint his toenails. He was a wonderful daddy to them.

Jesse grew up in Ventura CA until he was ten years old, then moved with his family to Duncannon PA.

He attended Susquenita Middle and High Schools, and Cumberland Perry Vocational Technical School, playing SASY soccer and for the Susquenita HS Boys Soccer Team.

He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Duncannon.

Jesse is survived by his daughters; Ariel, Jaiden and Avelin Lycett, his parents Nanci Kenyon and William, Larry Lycett and Elaine, brothers Jerod and James Lycett, grandparents Lillian Phillips and Mark Haworth and Suzy, step-sister and brother Emma and Dan Kenyon and Shannon, Jeremy and Ryan Sullivan, and many cousins, aunts and uncles and dear friends that were like brothers and sisters to him.

Viewing will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 10AM-11AM at the Summerdale United Methodist Church 203 Second St. Summerdale PA 17093. Services will begin at 11AM on Friday at the church with Pastor Candace Arnold officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lycett family.
