Joan C. Blasco

Joan C. Blasco, 83, of Mechanicsburg passed away on Friday evening at Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Updegraff and Jennie (Updegraff) Pavelic.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Blasco. Joan was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt formerly known as Harrisburg Catholic High School.

She was retired from Holy Spirit Hospital where she worked in the campaign office in 1957, and continued to work at Holy Spirit Hospital as a switchboard operator and in Human Resources.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Enola.
Surviving are her daughters Jennifer L. Blasco and JoEllen Blasco.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Holy Spirit Hospital 503 N. 21st Street Camp Hill, Pa 17011.
