Karen S. Fleisher

Karen S. Fleisher died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Enola, PA on July 22, 2018. Born in Harrisburg PA, she was the daughter of Harold (deceased) and Arlene Eckels.

For many years she worked for the PA Legislature, Governor's Office and Labor & Industry as well as being the past president for The Program for Female Offenders, during retirement, she was a Berkshire Hathaway realtor; entrepreneur and she showed her love in many ways, especially with her gift of cooking and entertaining.

She is survived by her daughter, Gillian Hench and husband Ray of Newville; her sisters, Jacqueline Connelly and husband James of Mays Landing, NJ, Kim Miller and husband Dennis of York Haven, PA; a brother, Steven Eckels and wife, Deborah of Woodgate, NY; her grandson, Alex James Hayden of Newville; and several nieces and nephews.

Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 28th 1:00 p.m. Messiah Village Church, Mechanicsburg, PA.

Sullivan Funeral Home has been entrusted to handle arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, Karen wants donations to the charity of one's choice.
