Norman C. Koeberle, 88, passed away Thursday, August 4th, 2016 at Country Meadows in York. 

He was born in Chase City, VA on June 7, 1928, a son of the late Joseph and Florence (Heilman) Koeberle. 

Mr. Koeberle was married for 61 years to the late Josephine (Stellmach) Koeberle. 

Norman was a graduate of Shamokin High School. 

He was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Enola and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 12404.   

Mr. Koeberle honorably served our country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S Army. 

He worked as an Industrial Engineer at AMP Inc. and retired after 33 years of service. 

Norman is survived by two sons, Kenneth Koeberle and wife Heather of York and Roger Koeberle and wife Beth, of Solon, Ohio; one sister, Katheryn Zelen of Washington; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Philip Koeberle. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 19, 2016, beginning at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 225 Salt Road, Enola with the Reverend Michael Grab officiating.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Koeberle’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Ste. 100, Wormleysburg, PA 17043 and to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK  73123.
