Ryan Michael Klaiber, 25, of Enola was taken from us suddenly on December, 1, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born on May 4, 1993 in Erie, PA the son of Michael and Linda Klaiber.

He attended East Pennsboro Schools where he played baseball, basketball, soccer and ran track and field. He also played basketball in the Our Lady of Lourdes Church League. He was a member of the Honor Society.

He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. He was employed as a Depository Financial Institutions Examiner with the Department of Banking and Securities for the State of Pennsylvania. Ryan was a true and avid sports fan from football, basketball to hockey.

Ryan is survived by his father, Michael Klaiber, mother, Linda Klaiber and her fiancé Anthony Leo, his step-mother Debbie Klaiber and step-brother, Nicholas Wiencek. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Nancy Goodreau, his paternal grandmother, Jean Klaiber both of St Marys, PA, and his step-grandparents, Bruno and Margaret Wiencek of Bushnell, FL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and his buddy, Samson.

Funeral arrangements are being held at the Sullivan Funeral Home at 51 N Enola Dr. in Enola. Viewing hours will be at the Sullivan Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 5th from 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 6th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 225 Salt Rd in Enola.

There will be a private committal service at Perry Heights Cemetery in Marysville after the funeral service.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Klaiber family.

    I was shocked to hear of the news of Ryan’s passing. When Linda talked about him, she always had a spark in her eye and smile on her face. He had a smile that would light up the room. Ryan was kind, he had compassion, and a great sense of humor. I know the next few days, weeks, and months will be hard. I’m praying you’ll be comforted with precious memories of your beloved Ryan.
