Gail Elaine Hamilton, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend began a new chapter of life with our Lord Jesus Christ on the evening of October 18, 2018.

Gail was sixty-years old and, throughout her life, she drew dozens of people to Jesus Christ through her enduring love and kindness.

Gail and Don enjoyed a thirty-eight-year marriage filled with love, joy and adventure.

She served by Don’s side in their ministry at Vibrant A Christian Church for thirty-six years where Gail was the worship director for over twenty-five years. Music in worship was one of Gail’s passions. Gail loved to travel the world and help those in developing countries through mission service trips.  In 2015 Gail, her husband Don and nephew Joseph, completed a significant portion of the Camino Way, a 500-mile pilgrimage across Spain.

Gail is survived by four daughters, Andrea Hamilton, Lauren Jones, Kristin Russell, Rachel Mullelley , five grandchildren, three sons-in-laws, her parents, Paul and Betty Nevel, three sisters, Bonnie Hamer, Julie Nevel, Karen Kennedy and one brother, Jay Nevel, numerous nieces and nephews, and a long line of friends and followers.

Through the Gail’s Girls Ministry, Gail and her family raised $170,000 in 2017 to support twenty-five female graduates who have initiated community transformation in towns and villages throughout a large region of southern Asia.  Another $170,000 is presently being raised to support another class of twenty-five women leaders.

Gail Hamilton was an amazing woman of God! Her legacy will last for generations.

If you would like to help Gail continue her legacy, please make-a-donation in her honor to Gail’s Girls at www.gailsgirls.org.

A memorial service will be held in Gail’s honor at Vibrant A Christian Church, 1775 Lambs Gap Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 on Sunday October 21, 2018 at 5:30 pm.  Visitation will be held at the church from 2:30-5:30 pm on October 21st.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hamilton family.
