Marlin R. Comp (Pete) 88, of Enola, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 19, 2019. Marlin was born January 19th, 1931 in West Fairview, PA.
He was the son of the late Emma C. and Lawrence M. Loper. He is preceded in death by his wife Loretta J. Comp, and grandson Michael A. Comp, as well as 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Marlin is survived by his two children, his son Marlin L. Comp (Donna Comp) and his daughter, Kim K. Flory (Charlie Flory), 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 Sister (June) , 2 brothers (Larry and Ron), 1 brother in law and many nieces and nephews.
Marlin served in the US Air Force from 1952-1960. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Mechanicsburg Navy Depot as a quality control inspector. He was member of the American Legion Post 984 of West Fairview, PA. Marlin lived life to his fullest. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 11AM-12PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola PA. Services will begin at 12PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
