Matilda L. Hallman, 88, formerly of Enola, passed away Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 at the Masonic Village. Matilda was born in Summerdale, PA on August 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Caroline (Good) and John Hepford. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Hallman, as well as 5 brothers. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and active with the church's youth group. She was a volunteer with the East Pennsboro Library and the East Pennsboro Historical Society. She was a graduate of Enola High School of 1948.
Matilda is survived by a daughter, Peggy S. Hallman, three sons James A., Robert A., husband of Deborah, and John E. Hallman, husband of Brenda. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 27th at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Enola, PA with Rev. John Overman officiating. A viewing will be held 10 AM to 11 AM on Thursday, June 27th at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Enola, PA. Graveside services will be held in Stone Church Cemetery Enola, PA.
