Paul Stanley Sanderson

Paul Stanley Sanderson, 72, passed away on May 3, 2019, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

Paul was the son of late Arlene (Dell) Sanderson and Paul Jacob Sanderson of West Fairview and brother of late sister Cheri Ann Sanderson. 

Paul enjoyed all types of sports including football, baseball, softball, wrestling and ice hockey.  Paul retired from Quaker Oats in Shiremanstown, PA after 35 years of dedicated service.  He also retired from Dauphin County Prison after 10 years of employment.  

Marlin R. (Pete) Comp

Marlin R. Comp (Pete) 88, of Enola, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 19, 2019. Marlin was born January 19th, 1931 in West Fairview, PA.

He was the son of the late Emma C. and Lawrence M. Loper. He is preceded in death by his wife Loretta J. Comp, and grandson Michael A. Comp, as well as 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Doris Jeane (Barr) Irish

Doris Jeane (Barr) Irish

February 23, 1929-April 14, 2019

Daughter of the late William W.O. Barr and Alma P. (Bonawitz) Barr. A graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1947. Also, a graduate of the Naval Communications School, Norfolk VA. A veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. A past commander of the Edith Cavell American Legion Post 596, an all-woman military veteran post named for a famous World War I nurse.

A member of the Manada Gap Assembly of God Church.

Judy M. Hartman

Judy M. Hartman, 65, of Camp Hill passed away peacefully after a long battle with ovarian cancer at home on April 10, 2019.

Born on September 6, 1953, she was the daughter to the late Ernest and Anna Jones.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Jones.

Judy was a 1972 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and had worked at Ern’s Hoagie Shop in Lemoyne. She babysat many children for over 30 years in her neighborhood.

She loved shopping, collecting red trucks, dolls, and buying leggings (Legos).

John F. Kidman

John F. Kidman, 92 of Mechanicsburg passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at his home.

Born in Harrisburg, PA he was the son to the late John L. Kidman and Anna (Walch) Kidman. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WWII, and was a retired dental technician with Muth & Mumma Dental Lab. John was a member of Enola First Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; 2 sons, Ricky and John Kidman; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A. Jean Tomasello

A. Jean Tomasello, 81, of Enola, PA  passed away on April 6, 2019. Born in Butler, PA, February 12, 1938 to the late Angelo and Mary (DePola) Tartaglione. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicola Tomasello and her sister JoAnna Holtzapple.

She is survived by her sister Carmella Tartaglione of New Castle, PA her daughter, Jill Tomasello of Enola, son Nick Tomasello (wife Natalie) of Mechanicsburg, and six grandchildren, Ryan, Nickolas, Amber, Serafina, Jonathan, and Elizabeth.

Dennis (Denny) Lee Wise

Dennis (Denny) Lee Wise, 58, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Enola, passed away from a sudden illness on April 3, 2019 at West Shore Hospital with his family by his side. A son of the late Paul and Shirley Wise, he was born on April 22, 1960 in Mechanicsburg.

Helen Luckenbaugh

Helen Luckenbaugh, age 93 of Marysville passed away peacefully Saturday, March 30, 2019 at her home. She was born December 20, 1925 to the late Forrest and Helen (Toland) Sanders in Marysville, PA. She is survived by her son, Bradley and daughter-in-law, Janell of Mechanicsburg and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Elmer (Lucky) Luckenbaugh and infant daughter, Linda Luckenbaugh and her brother Harry Sanders and sisters, Freda Soutner and Betty Miller. Helen was a life member of Marysville Church of God, and graduate of Marysville High

James M. Billow

James M. Billow, age 85 of Enola passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 27th, with his children by his side.  He was born on November 10, 1933 and was one of twelve children born to the late Vestal and Esther (Wentzel) Billow.

James served as a sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  He worked for Swift and Company as a delivery driver and CAT Bus as a mechanic.  He also enjoyed being a taxidermist and was a member of the Williams Grove Steam Engine Association for many years.

Song Sun Swann
Song Sun Swann, 71, of Camp Hill (formerly of Dillsburg), went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2019. Song was the proud Mother of six children and the Halmoeni of six beautiful grandchildren, all who were her world. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Roy D.
