Robert A. (Foot) Fisher

Robert A. (Foot) Fisher, 77 of Camp Hill, PA passed away December 5, 2018.  Robert was born in Mechanicsburg and formerly of Enola. 

He is preceded in death by his father John E. Fisher & Anna H. (Ritter) Fisher.  Brothers: John E. Jr., Jacob, Clyde, Richard & Ronald.  Sisters: Dorothy Fetrow, Helen Beach, Ruth Lauer & Betty Hawthorne. 

He is survived by his sons David A. (Wife Pat) & Kevin M. (Fiancé Kathy); also 4 grandchildren, Shaun, Corey, Brittany & Gabby Fisher. He had 7 great-grandchildren & 3 step-grandchildren. 

Ryan Michael Klaiber

Ryan Michael Klaiber, 25, of Enola was taken from us suddenly on December, 1, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born on May 4, 1993 in Erie, PA the son of Michael and Linda Klaiber.

He attended East Pennsboro Schools where he played baseball, basketball, soccer and ran track and field. He also played basketball in the Our Lady of Lourdes Church League. He was a member of the Honor Society.

Margaret Zimmerman

Margaret Zimmerman of Camp Hill and formerly from Shamokin, PA entered in to the house of the Lord on Sunday December 2, 2018.

She was a member of the Chapel Hill UCC. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert G Zimmerman. She is survived by her daughters Dianne Boose and Cindy Crist; also 4 grandchildren, Stacey, Scott, Thomas Crist and Jennifer Rainey, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Craig S. "Parky" Parkison

Craig S. "Parky" Parkison, 56 of Dauphin, PA passed away November 18, 2018 at John Hopkins Medical Center. Craig was born in Harrisburg to Barbara S. Parkison and Robert L. Parkison.

Craig graduated from West Perry High School. He loved sports; he played football and baseball for West Perry. While playing baseball for the West Perry Mustangs, his team won the State Championship in 1979, and it’s the only year Mustangs won a State Championship. 

Eldon L. Townsend

Eldon L. Townsend, 86, of Summerdale passed away on November 18, 2018, after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born October 20,1932 in Carlisle, PA to the late Herschel and Myra Townsend.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, especially blueberries, playing his guitars, singing in country bands, woodworking, and driving stock cars at local dirt tracks during the 1950’s and 60’s.  Eldon and his wife, Julia also enjoyed camping and traveling in their RV, listening to local country music, and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy I. Thomas

Kathy I. Thomas, 65, of New Buffalo, loving mother, grandmother “Mimi”, caregiver to many, and now our lifelong angel, has gained her wings to watch over us. Heaven gained another angel when she died peacefully in her sleep on November 14th, 2018.

Jacob Michael Rettig

On November 13, 2018 our beautiful and beloved grandson and son left this world to enter into his next adventure.  He will be missed more than words can express. 

Francis (Frank) Vaccaro

Francis (Frank) Vaccaro, 77, of Enola, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Holy Spirit Hospital in the company of his wife and children.

Frank was born in Newark, NJ, a son to the late Frank and Antoinette (Varano) Vaccaro. Frank served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and later retired as a Master Sergeant. Frank was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Enola, the Knights of Columbus and the VFW.

Dorothy Piper Medill

Dorothy Piper Medill died on October 27, 2018, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, in her daughter’s home.  She was 86 years old.   The cause of death was a fast-growing brain tumor (glioblastoma), diagnosed three weeks earlier.

Marie (Jones) Shade

Marie (Jones) Shade passed away on October 17, 2018. She was a graduate of Danville High School. Born in Kulpmont, PA she met and married Ralph Shade.
