Helen V. Frank

Helen V. Frank, 91, of Gardners passed away Thursday, August 16th, 2018 at Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle.

Helen was born in Danville, IL on October 18, 1926, a daughter of the late Lissa (Herren) and Fred King.

She was the widow of Dean Frank.

She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church Enola, PA 17025.

She retired from Quaker Oats after 30 years of services.

Helen is survived by two sons Donald D. Frank and David T. Frank.

She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Sandra E. Benner

Sandra E. Benner, 72, of Shiremanstown, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her residence. 

Sandra is survived by her mother, Dorothy Shaffer; two children, Matthew Benner and wife Kim, and Mary Fureman; her beloved grandchildren, Cameron Bretz and his fiancé Alicia Rathmell, Gabrielle Bretz, Hayden Benner, and Isaiah Bretz; and one great-granddaughter, Mia.

She was employed and retired as a Registered Nurse for 35 years.

All Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Sandra E. Benner, 72, of Shiremanstown, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her residence. 

Sandra is survived by her mother, Dorothy Shaffer; two children, Matthew Benner and wife Kim, and Mary Fureman; her beloved grandchildren, Cameron Bretz and his fiancé Alicia Rathmell, Gabrielle Bretz, Hayden Benner, and Isaiah Bretz; and one great-granddaughter, Mia.

Richard E. "Dick" Fry

Richard E. “Dick” Fry, 83, of Manchester, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 22, 1934 in York, he is a son of the late Harry D.J. Fry and Margie Ellen (Neice) Fry.

On August 3, 1985, he was married to his surviving wife, Dorothy S. “Dottie” (Leach) Fry, with whom he was blessed to share 33 years of marriage with.

Dick was employed and retired as a Machine Designer with the DuPont Company.

Richard E. "Dick" Fry

Josephine Milito

Josephine Milito, 84, of Camp Hill passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Holy Spirit Hospital. 

Josephine was born in New York, NY on May 1, 1934, a daughter of the late Evangeline (Martinez) and Antonio Ramirez.

She worked as a secretary to the Medical Director at the Nassau County Police Department in Long Island, NY.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Enola, PA. 

Josephine is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Rubertone and her husband, Joseph, of Enola, PA.    She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

Karen S. Fleisher

Karen S. Fleisher died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Enola, PA on July 22, 2018. Born in Harrisburg PA, she was the daughter of Harold (deceased) and Arlene Eckels.

For many years she worked for the PA Legislature, Governor's Office and Labor & Industry as well as being the past president for The Program for Female Offenders, during retirement, she was a Berkshire Hathaway realtor; entrepreneur and she showed her love in many ways, especially with her gift of cooking and entertaining.

Nancy B. Potteiger

Nancy B. Potteiger, 89, formerly of Enola peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Cumberland Crossings in Carlisle, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Potteiger of 65 years and her daughter Vicki L. Schiffner-Grimm.

Mary Ellen (Stringer) Shetrom

Mary Ellen (Stringer) Shetrom (1948 - 2018)

Our beloved Mary, born on April 21, 1948 in Lewistown, PA, passed away surrounded by family at her daughter's home (Dillsburg) on July 6, 2018. She was known by many names: Suzie, Suzie-Q, Sue, Mom, Grammy, Grandma Sue, Gramma Suess, Grandma, MiMi, Mama Sue, Aunt Sue or simply "The Q".

Donald E. Strawser

Donald E. Strawser died at his home in Enola on July 16, 2018. He was born May 30, 1931.

He served in the US Navy and retired from American Can Company in Lemoyne. He was an avid gardener and loved providing for wildlife.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Carrie Strawser, his wife Ruth, and four siblings; Charles and James Strawser, Lillian Herren and Betty Shaeffer. He is survived by six siblings; Leonard, Wayne, Richard and Kay Strawser, Violet Stailey, Doris Happ, and three children. Debra and Denise.
