William Martin Schmick

William Martin Schmick, 88, of Enola passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Claremont Nursing Home in Carlisle, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents William Schmick and Mabel Boyer; Queena, his wife of 60 years; his brother Matthew and sister Dolores Polsky.

Bonnie Mae Walker

Bonnie Mae Walker, 65, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Geisinger-Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. 

Born on November 2, 1952 in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry Emerson Sr. and Hattie Mae (Berkheimer) Golden.  On November 4, 1973 in Harrisburg, she married her surviving husband, Carl Eugene Walker, with whom she was blessed to share more than 44 years of marriage.

Iva R. Hare

Iva R. Hare, 93, of York passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Manor Care Nursing Home in York.

Born on February 28, 1925 in Duncannon, PA, she was the daughter to the late Vestal W. and Esther L. (Wetzel) Billow.

She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond A. Hare, Jr.

Surviving is a daughter, Ilene L. Levinsky; 3 brothers, James, Francis, and Clifford Billow; 2 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Viewing will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 10AM-11AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg.

Michelle Lynn Fetsko

Michelle Lynn Fetsko (Gontz) born September 21, 1972 and passed into the light on June 2, 2018.

She graduated from Cumberland Valley HS in 1990. She loved her dogs and all animals.

The family asks that you make a contribution to Mostly Mutts of Sunbury in lieu of flowers in her memory.

Sullivan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be a gathering in memory for family and close friends, no public ceremony.

Beverly I. Shuller

Beverly I. Shuller, 87, formerly of Summerdale, passed away on May 16, 2018 at Frey Village Nursing Home, Middletown. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter to the late Gerald and Agnes (Knighton) Shuller.

She worked as an underwriting assistant for Nationwide Insurance, Cigna, and Farmers Insurance. Beverly was a member of Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

Surviving is a brother, Quentin and his wife, Marjorie Shuller and a sister, Donna Zimmerman, and her husband, Barry; as well as nieces and nephews.

Robert (Bob) J. Smith, Sr.

Robert (Bob) J. Smith Sr., 85, of Mechanicsburg passed away at home on May 16, 2018.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Mary, of 65 years: 2 sons, Bob Smith Jr. of Dillsburg and Craig Smith of Mechanicsburg: a daughter, Bonnie Dilley (Tom) of Lititz, PA.

He was born on April 19, 1933 in Harrisburg, PA. Bob graduated from Enola High School in 1952.

Bob served in the U.S. Army, as a Master Sergeant, during the Korean War.

Bob enjoyed a 30 year career of service with Hiram Walker Inc., retiring as the Northeast Regional Manager.

Alice Marie (Rafftesaeth) Tritt

Alice Marie (Rafftesaeth) Tritt, 81, formerly of Myersville, MD, passed away on Mother’s Day, May 13, 2018 at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, PA. She was born in Buffalo, NY, on October 15, 1936 to the late Dorothy (Light) and Marion Rafftesaeth.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Robert K. Tritt, Sr.

She attended John Harris High School and Elizabethtown College and was a former employee of AMP.

James A. Rhine

James A. Rhine, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called home by our Lord and Savior. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Emma Rodgers Rhine and daughters Kathy Martini (husband Bill) and Kim Kelly (husband Len).

Ronald A. Magaro

Ronald A. Magaro, 80 of Enola passed from this life peacefully at home on April 30, 2018.  Born on September 13, 1937 in Enola to the late Andrew E. Magaro and Lucetta(Lutz)Magaro, he graduated from Harrisburg Catholic High School (Bishop McDevitt).     On his seventeenth birthday Ron enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and honorably served his country for 37 years, retiring as First Sergeant from the 3622 Maintenance Company where he was affectionately called “Top”.
