Sharon L. Hewitt, 53, of Mechanicsburg passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends on Friday, March 9, 2018. Sharon loved animals, enjoyed gardening, feeding birds, and weekends at the beach.

Donald Charles Kroh, 87, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend of many, entered into the arms of his heavenly father on March 10, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.  His strong faith in God sustained him during his final hours of earthy life. 

Robert E. Scott

Robert E. Scott, 77, son of the late Lester and Dorothy (Bryner) Scott and life-long resident of Enola, died March 5, 2018 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Bob graduated from Enola High School in 1958 and retired from Ames True Temper after 43 years of employment. He was a member of the Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the Enola Sportsmen’s Association. 

Rev. Ruth Louise Rahn Bair

Rev. Ruth Louise Rahn Bair was called home to be with God Sunday, March 4, 2018.  Born Ruth Louise Rahn July 31, 1924, she was raised in Steelton and Wormleysburg and graduated from the former Lemoyne High School in 1943. 

Robert A. Wancho

Robert A. Wancho, Jr., 54, of Etters passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018. He worked as a concrete contractor for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, and being with his family.

Robert is survived by his wife, Debra of Etters, and 2 step-sons, Josef and Jeffrey of Dover.

Julia A. Townsend (Funt), 88 of Summerdale passed away peacefully on February 11, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born January 14, 1930 in West Fairview to the late Casimiro and Marie DiPaolo (Giannantonio.)

Joseph P. McCahan of Carlisle, born April 26, 1928 passed away at Hershey Medical Center on Thursday, February 8, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Luray Dissinger McCahan, Daughter Michele Baldwin her husband Michael Baldwin their son Joseph Baldwin and his wife Rachel Baldwin.

Merle L. Chronister

Merle L. Chronister of Enola passed away at Claremont Nursing Home on February 6, 2018.

Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Susan Chronister; sisters, Caroline Gardner, Lois Knaby, Vergie Chronister, and Judy Magaro; and a brother, Jack Chronister.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot.
