B. Joanne (Harm) Brougher

B. Joanne (Harm) Brougher, 77 of Enola passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2018.  She was born October 2, 1940 in Harrisburg to the late Kenneth Robbins and Beatrice Virginia (Sharetts) Harm.   She retired from Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot after more than 35 years of service as a procurement agent.  After retirement she worked at the East Pennsboro Branch Library.  She was an active church member including service as Council Secretary and singing in the choir.

Rachel Lynne (Bubb) Petrovich

Rachel Lynne (Bubb) Petrovich passed away at age 41 on April 24, 2018 in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. She was born on December 16, 1976 in SHAPE, Belgium, Europe, to Michael and Rebecca Bubb. Rachel graduated from Kecoughtan High School, Hampton, VA in 1994 and Radford University (BSN), Radford, VA in 1999.

Gladys Kauffman

Gladys Kauffman, age 87, of Enola, passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at her home. Born September 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Edna Speck. She was preceded in death by her daughter Ruby, brothers Leroy and Gene, and sister Rosella.

Robert L. Wagner Sr.

Robert L. Wagner, Sr., 91, of Enola passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the West Shore Hospital. He was born in Mount Carmel, PA on March 29, 1927, a son of the late Grace (Hull) and Earl Wagner. Robert served in the U.S. Army during WWII achieving the Army of Occupation Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

Robert was a retired carpenter with the Carpenter's Local #287.

Laura E. Popielski (Peterson)

Laura E. Popielski, age 68, of Carlisle PA passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center surrounded in love by her family.

Laura was born April 29, 1949 in Kane, PA and graduated from Kane High School.  She served as a Protocol Assistant at the Naval Supply Systems Command Headquarters in Mechanicsburg, PA. 

Douglas Eugene Forbes

Douglas Eugene Forbes, 68, went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

After years of battling physical challenges, he is whole and at rest. Born to the late Elmer (Jim) and Dorothy Forbes, Doug was a lifelong resident of Enola. Doug was united in marriage with Audrey Fay Fox of Avoca, New York, on July 18, 1970. Audrey, whom Doug called ‘Sweetie or Barefoot,’ stood by him through life’s many challenges throughout their marriage of nearly 48 years. 

Angelina Mary Boyd

Angelina Mary Boyd, aged 89, died on March 24, 2018 at her home at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Harrisburg, PA. She suffered from a lengthy battle with COPD and Congestive Heart Disease.

J. Frank Kautz, Sr.

J. Frank Kautz, Sr., 71, of Womelsdorf, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Reading Hospital.

Born in Harrisburg, he was the son to the late Morris Earl Kautz and Margaret Jean Spidel Kautz. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving is his wife, Verna L. Kautz and his former wife, Kathryn Kautz; his children, Stacy Weiser, Stephanie Kautz, and J. Frank Kautz, Jr., and 4 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Rolling Green Cemetery.

J. Frank Kautz, Sr.

William J. Werner

William J. Werner, 70, of Thompsontown, PA passed away to be in eternal light on March 17th, 2018 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital. Numerous family gathered in loving support to be near him at the time of his passing.

William, known as Bill, was born in Harrisburg, PA and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the eldest son of Nancy and Dimko Angeloff.

He is survived by his siblings John Werner, Dimko Angeloff, Robert Staub, Brenda Vazquez and Daniel Angeloff.
