Fred Klinger 61, of Mechanicsburg, passed away, Saturday May 22, 2021 at home.
He was the son of the late William Klinger and Judith Klinger of Enola, PA.
He is survived by his loving wife Sharon, daughter Amber, and brother Jeffrey from Mechanicsburg. He is also survived by a sister Tammy Henry and husband Jeff of Newport, also sister-in-law Georgene Poticher and Father-in-law George Poticher of Enola, brother-in-law James Poticher and wife Amy off Enola, sister-in-law Susan Klinger wife of Bill Klinger who proceeded Fred in death, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Fred was an avid sports player of hockey and wiffle ball and softball and loved to teach the kids how to play. He loved fishing until they kept raising the cost of the license. He was a Nascar fan (Dale Earnhardt) and Philly flyers was his hockey team. He also had a stand for many years at the flea market. Fred will be greatly missed and still very much loved. Fred was a very gentle giant, until he was not, then you knew to get out of the way!
There will be a visitation at Sullivan Funeral Home, 51 N. Enola Dr, Enola between 6-8pm Tues, May 25th.
