  1. We have been Fred’s neighbors for over 11 years.
What a great guy who enjoyed sitting on his porch with Figgy watching the neighbor kids play.
Fred was so caring. He never missed Riley or Haley’s birthday which meant a lot, and enjoyed showing them his yearbook photos and his amazing pool shots.
    He is missed!

  2. We went to school with Fred, and we remember him as a quiet, handsome gentleman. Herb loved playing pool with Fred. We will remember him.

  3. I have known Fred for over 40 years having met as young employees of IBM in Philadelphia. Even though our careers took us in different directions, Fred to Camp Hill, PA, and me to Raleigh, NC, we always stayed in touch. Throughout the years Fred remained a constant…a caring and compassionate friend. During those difficult periods in life he was always quick to offer words of encouragement. I hope I was able to do the same for him. I will miss Fred very much and our daily phone conversations that we both looked forward to. Rest in Peace Fred.

  4. I first met Fred in a pool hall in Mechanicsburg about 15 years ago. He began giving me lessons at his house and introduced me to his mom who he took care of. My wife and I have stayed in touch with him over the years, getting together every few months for coffee to talk about pool and life. Fred was a heck of a guy, extremely nice and thoughtful and sharp as a tack. I had recently been sending him baby pictures of our new daughter and he absolutely loved them. We had plans to get together with him soon so he could meet her. Fred was a great friend and an even better person. He cared so deeply about his mom and was passionate about making sure she had the best care until the end. And he treated his pup Figgy like she was like his own child. We are going to miss Fred a lot. I hope he is resting easy.

  5. Fred was my neighbor for about 10 years. He was a very caring man that would go above and beyond to help. He looked out for my son and I for many years. He will be missed.

  6. I was just beginning my teaching career at Mahanoy Area when i met Freddy. I went to every one of his football games. He wasn’t a big guy, but boy, could he run with a football. His name appears as one of the best running backs in school history. I haven’t seen Freddy since high school, but I want to send my condolences to his family. Heaven got another “Blue Chip” football player. R.I.P. Buddy.

  7. Fred was a wonderful, very caring son to his mother whom he personally cared for, in his home, when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. He attended our local support group meetings in Camp Hill and helped many others who also looked for support when their loved ones were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Even when he could not make a meeting, he would always check in just to see how everyone was doing. He will be sadly missed! Rest In Peace, dear Fred!

  8. Fred was a very nice guy. I dated over the years. He was caring and loved his dog Tyler. Second to him was his love of pool and teaching it to others. We shared many great times and memories together. He will surely be missed.

  9. Fred was quite the storyteller. He had an infectious laugh at his own stories. I will miss hearing about Figgy; road reports; his playing pool stories. I remember his support of Dunkin Donut by wearing his pink orange winter sock hat he purchased last winter. I will miss talking Notre Dame football with Fred. Mostly I will miss his greetings daily at the drive in at the Credit Union. Rest In Peace Fred and keep the stories alive in Heaven. Figgy I pray has a good home and caring person like you. She was your girl! You are missed!!!!!????✝️
