Marcy Biggi

Marcy was called to her Heavenly home on November 1st, 2021 after losing a courageous battle with brain cancer. Marcy was born in Buffalo, NY. While working at her job as a secretary in the English Department at the State College at Buffalo, she met Bob, a student at nearby SUNY at Buffalo (UB), in April of 1967. Bob graduated from UB and married Marcy in November of that same year. They moved to Pennsylvania in 1972. While raising her family, Marcy worked as a teller at CCNB, as a Medicare Fraud Investigator for Highmark Blue Shield, and finally as an Administrative Assistant for Wicks Educational Associates.

Marcy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as Mimi. She especially enjoyed shopping for her granddaughters and loved keeping them in the latest fashions. She always insisted on getting the grandkids Christmas lists early so she could get an early start buying everything they wanted. She loved traveling; taking cruises and exploring our western states were her favorites. She also loved getting away from the cold North; wintering in Hawaii, Punta Cana, Florida and Texas. Marcy loved tending her flower gardens at home, with spring and summer her favorite seasons.

Marcy is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, her three sons, Brian (Erin), Kevin (Bonnie) and Jason (Amy), 9 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren, Jared, Jocelyn, Bethany, Gabrielle, Benjamin, Nathan, Kyra, Sara, Annika, Alexander Reilly, and Abigail Reilly.

Marcy was the youngest of six, and was predeceased in death by her parents, Joseph and Jessie Dorobiala, her two brothers, Robert and Danny, and two sisters, Jeanette Swiatkowski and Dorothy Krajewski.  She is survived by her sister, MaryAnn Likus and her many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Enola, PA at 2 PM on Friday, November 12th followed by a Mass at 3 PM. A Celebration of Life reception will be held for family and friends at Duke’s Riverside Bar and Grille in Wormleysburg from 4 PM to 7 PM in the banquet room.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Biggi family.
