Lynnette and McCarty family, I am so sorry for your loss. He will definitely be missed. He always had a wave and smile for me as I walked mom and Rick into church and ushered them to the pew. May God’s grace be with you during this difficult time.
Deep sympathy goes out to Mikes family Great neighbors of long ago. Also car pooled with him when i first started working at Labor and Industry ( he had a permit}} as Mike Cannon says. Spent many afternoon and evenings on his front porch with wife Janet and other neighbor used to do. That was our entertainment at that time. Wishing all his children well and happiness. You had great mom and dad.
picking the cherries off of the tree in his backyard and teaching me how to de-pit them and spit the seed out. also watching him whittle a whistle out of a willow branch or an oak branch
Condolences on Mike’s passing. Carpooled with him when I first started work for the State (he had a parking permit!). Recall a number of stories. Worked with him at chuch bingo for a while.
When I lived in Enola I rode to work with Mike. Later I worked for him. We were friends with him and his wife Janet. Later on his daughter rode in our car pool. we were both programmers, working on Wage Record programs.
Sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He was my boss for many years at the state (EDP). He never took himself too seriously and was a good boss to work with.
