Jennifer Margaret Burton‑Reed, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, passed away quietly on April 24, 2026.
Born to Ruth and Charles Burton on August 17, 1973, Jennifer grew up in Highland, North Carolina before earning her nursing degree and eventually settled in Central Pennsylvania. She spent many years working in healthcare, committed to doing her job with steadiness and reliability.
Jennifer had a few things she genuinely enjoyed, including all things Disney and the simple pleasure of going out for sushi. These interests brought her comfort and familiarity throughout her life.
The most important part of Jennifer’s life was her children. She leaves behind her sons, Caleb Michael Reed and Joshua Thomas Reed, whom she loved deeply. In recent years, she shared her life with her partner, Bob Pope of Harrisburg, PA, whose companionship meant a great deal to her.
Jennifer’s life was shaped by the relationships she held close. She will be remembered by those who knew her in their own honest and personal ways.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, May 5, 2026 from 6PM-7PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home 51 N. Enola Dr. Enola PA 17025.
