Arthur L. Kreitzer 98, of Enola, PA passed away at home on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

He was born in West Fairview, PA the son of James M. and Catherine E. Bucher Kreitzer. Arthur was the eldest of six boys and in turn had six boys.

Arthur was preceded in death by his son Michael Kreitzer. He is survived by his wife Edna Mae Kreitzer, who he was married to for 73 years, and five sons Kenneth of Camp Hill, Richard (Glenaire) of Etters, David (Cindy) of Dillsburg, Barry of Enola and Jeffrey (Beth) of Brunswick, Ohio. He is also survived by grandchildren Courtney, Sara, Ryan, Andrew, Kendra, Dave and great-grandchildren Grace, Adeline, Ryan, Matthew, Bryce, Avery and Kenley.

Arthur served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a life member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (Local 542) and considered himself to be the best bulldozer operator in the entire local union.

Arthur (affectionally known as Pap) possessed many talents and had the attitude that he could do anything the same or better than anyone else. Pap’s projects included building his own home, a pontoon boat, fixing and rebuilding vehicles and he had the vision and ability to create a trailer from scrap metal.

Pap was also known for the famous “Sunday Drive” to destinations unknown and a “No Trespassing” sign was a challenge to be conquered. Pap will also be remembered for helping anybody in their time of need even at the expense of his own needs.

Pap you will be greatly missed and thought of often. Your family wishes you a safe journey and hope you enjoy the great views along the way. Goodbye dear husband and father.
