Beverly A. Stuck

Share Obituary!

Beverly Ann Stuck, 83, of Reedsville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 28, 1942, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to Jonas and Tressie (Bender), Beverly lived a life defined by kindness, laughter, and devotion to her family. She graduated from Lewistown High School, Class of 1959, and went on to earn her cosmetology license in 1960, pursuing her passion for beauty and helping others feel their best. In 1973, she proudly opened her own salon, where she built a long and successful career as a beautician and business owner. Her clients often became dear friends, and her salon was as much a gathering place for laughter and stories as it was for haircuts and color.

Beverly was the beloved wife and widow of Franklin Stuck Sr., the love of her life. Together they shared countless joyful moments — from beach trips to family gatherings filled with her famous lasagna and too many baked goods to count.

She was a woman of deep compassion and humor, known for her welcoming spirit and contagious laugh. She loved cooking and crocheting, and she found joy in making baby blankets for her local hospital, spreading comfort to families she never even met. Beverly also loved cheering for her favorite teams and events — NASCAR, the Philadelphia Eagles, Notre Dame, Penn State, the Phillies, the Little League World Series, and the Olympics — especially when watching with her family by her side.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Robyn Reigle, and her husband, Jim; her grandchildren, Amber Wilber and her husband, Charlie Anderson, and Travis Wilber and his fiancée, Jess Miller; and her four great-grandchildren — Lumen, Lucy, Astrid, and Stuart.

She is also survived by her brothers, James Bender and his wife, Helen, and Salvatore “Sam” Bender. Beverly loved her nieces and nephews dearly: Jay, Shawn, and Danielle (children of James), and Todd and Samantha (children of Salvatore and his late wife, Kathy).

Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Franklin Stuck Sr., and her parents, Jonas and Tressie Bender.

A private memorial will be held to honor Beverly’s life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to ROFF Rescue “Cattery,” her local cat rescue — a cause close to her heart.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Stuck family.
