Darlene Mable Brink (Hubler), 86, of Enola, peacefully left this earth guided by the hand of God on Friday, December 22, 2023, after a sudden catastrophic stroke.

Darlene was born on April 6, 1937 to Jacob Hubler and Willa Narehood/Hubler of Selinsgrove, PA.  After Darlene graduated from Middleburg High School in 1955, she went on to attend Susquehanna University.

Darlene went on to work for the State Capitol for 10 years, where she met her husband, Clyde Lewis Brink, the engineer on the train she traveled every day from Sunbury to Harrisburg.  They married and went on to have three children, Mollie Pauline, Jean Marie, and Donna Mae.  She was an active member of Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church of Enola.

Darlene was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters, her husband, one granddaughter, and two great grandsons.  She is survived by her three daughters, Mollie Jennings of Enola, Jean Howell of Halifax, and Donna Shafer of Harrisburg, five grandchildren, Michael Brink of Harrisburg, Brian Marks of Enola, Renee Marks of Shermansdale, Vance Shingara of Grantville, and Cheyenne Shafer of Duncannon and five great-grandchildren, Levi, Miles, Rocky, Oliver, and Ashor.

Services will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2023, at 12:00PM located at 51 North Enola Drive Enola, PA 17025. A viewing will be from 11AM until the time of the service. Officiating will be Pastor Timothy Brubaker and Pastor Graham.

Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery.
