
Donald Neil Withington, 90, passed away October 27, 2014 at Collier Hospice in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Don was born and raised in Enola, Pennsylvania. He was a World War II veteran. After the war, he attended Penn State University, graduating in 1951. He was married for 63 years to Evelyn Manning Withington, who preceded him in death on August 24, 2013. Don spent most of his career with the U.S. Geologic Survey, living in various states until 1962 when he moved to Colorado, where he finished his career. He is survived by two sons, Scott Withington of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jeff Withington of Lakewood, Colorado. There are 12 grandchildren who will carry fond memories of their time spent with their beloved Momo and Popo and 6 great-grandchildren. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap, Monday, November 3rd at 9 AM.
