Donald R. Gamber, 92, of Enola passed away on November 11, 2015 at his home. 
Born in West Fairview, he was the son to the late Elmer and Pearl Gamber. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Gamber.
Donald was a proud U.S. Navy WWII veteran serving in the Pacific Theater on the U.S.S. Escambia, a refueling vessel that supplied fuel to air craft carriers for the air strikes in the assault on the Philippines and the attack on Okinawa. He was a member of the New Cumberland American Legion.
He was a retired welder from Bethlehem Steel.
Surviving is his daughter, Deborah L. Holler (Kenneth) of Carlisle, and a granddaughter, Kimberly Thompson of Maple Shade, NJ.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 10-11AM at the Sullivan Funeral Home.
Services will begin at 11AM.
Burial with military honors will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park.
The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gamber family.
