Doris Irene (Stuppy) Litchfield, 81, of Enola, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at her residence.  Born on December 28, 1933 in Lykens, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Hunter) Stuppy. 

On April 26, 1952, she was married to Ivan Wayne Litchfield who preceded her in death on March 15, 1980.  Doris was a graduate of Wiconisco High School.  She was a homemaker for many years and then became employed by the East Pennsboro School District as a cafeteria worker.

Mrs. Litchfield was a long time member of the Summerdale United Methodist Church and was an active member of the Friendly Circle Class, the Bell Choir, and the United Methodist Women.  She loved bowling, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Doris is survived by a daughter, Sharon Enders (Robert) of Marysville; a son, David Litchfield (Kathy) of Mechanicsburg; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  

A Closed Casket Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Services at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Summerdale United Methodist Church, 203 2nd St., Summerdale with the Reverend Eugene Liddick officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral services at the Wiconsico Cemetery in Wiconisco, Dauphin County. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Litchfield’s memory to the Summerdale United Methodist Church, 203 2nd St., Summerdale, PA 17093.
