It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Doris M. (Lutz) Rynard, formerly of West Fairview, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at The Gardens in Camp Hill, where she resided at the age of 93.
She was born on August 4, 1930, in West Fairview. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Sceble Lutz.
She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband of 51 years, Jack E. Rynard. She was a devoted mother to her children, Harry Rynard of Kittery, ME; Diana Painter of Enola; Jack E. Rynard Jr. (Cathy) of Harrisburg; Henry (Hank) Rynard (Cheryl) of Summerdale; Richard Rynard of Lancaster. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, sisters Priscilla Gaffney of Mechanicsburg and Cindy Carter of Enola, brother Donald Lutz of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her siblings Edna, Viola, Harry, Ralph, Paul, and Russell.
Doris was a quiet, private person who loved playing Bingo and solving crossword puzzles in her free time.
Services will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home in Enola on Monday, July 29, 2024. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am, followed by the service and the graveside burial at the Enola Cemetery.
Rest in peace, dear mother. You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
