Elizabeth Sourbeer Walters “Betty”, 92, of Enola, went to be with her Lord, February 13th, 2015.
She was retired from the PA Department of Transportation and did volunteer work at the PA Veterans Medical Center, Camp Hill and The River Boat Cruises for Veterans.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine Hoerner Sourbeer and George Sourbeer of Penbrook, PA., as well as her husband, James Walters; a son, John; her brothers Gilbert, Robert, and James Sourbeer; her sisters Marie Leo and Esther Landis.
She is survived by two sons, Donald of Dauphin; Bradley (wife Kay) of Dillsburg, and two daughters, Nancy Knol of Harrisburg and Alma Walters Fultz with whom she lived, a sister, Catherine Herman Metz of New Cumberland; 7 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20th, 2015, at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 3700 Rutherford Street, Harrisburg with the visitation beginning at 10:00AM.
Services will begin at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
