George E. Scheuerman, 101, of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday July 5, 2025 at Bethany Village.
Born September 2, 1923 in Peekskill, NY, he was the youngest son of the late Paul R. and Marie (Bohringer) Scheuerman. He married Elizabeth L. Cullen on April 28, 1946, who predeceased him.
George served in the Seabees during World War II. He worked as a Heavy Duty Construction Mechanic for Edward Ehrbar Inc. until his retirement. George enjoyed his leisure time traveling, gambling responsibly, taking mall walks and honing his pool skills.
He had one brother and two sisters that are predeceased.
Surviving is a daughter, Patricia A. Bertovic of Mechanicsburg; a son, Michael E. Scheuerman of Harrisburg, NC; four grandchildren and three and a half great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 10:30AM-11:30AM at Sullivan Funeral Home 51 N. Enola Dr. Enola, PA 17025.
Graveside services with naval honors will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 1:30PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
