Gloria B. Kemper 86, of Enola died Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She was born in Enola, PA on August 28, 1928.
Surviving are her three children; Donald and Lynne Kemper, Robert and Tina Kemper, and Linda Guth; all of Enola. Surviving are 5 Grandchildren: Kyle Kemper, Adam Kemper, Robert Kemper, Aaron Elizabeth Davis, and Barbra Jean Guth; 6 Great-Grandchildren: Kyla, Leah, Mazie, Jada, Keaton and Noah. She spent her childhood in the nurturing company of her Nieces and Nephews; Denver, David and Jim Tuckey, Georgetta Crone, and Martha Perry.
Gloria spent her early years as a Nurse at Seidle Memorial Hospital in Mechanicsburg. She and her family worked together many years delivering hundreds-and-hundreds of newspapers all over the area.
She had a passion for re-arranging furniture. She was always cleaning, baking, canning, or cooking for a large number of people. She cared for many a sick person; be it family or friend.
Gloria knew the Lord and is now rejoicing with the Angels in Heaven.
Services will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home, 51 North Enola Drive, Enola, PA at 11 AM. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of services at 11 AM. Burial will be next to her husband Joe Kemper, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Drive, Memphis, TN 38150; or her church, Agape Fellowship in Christ, 7150 Sandy Hallow Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
Gloria loved all children, her friends, her family, her church; and most of all she loved life. She will be sorely missed by all those she influenced with her compassion, companionship and camaraderie. She had a long and eventful life. May she rest in peace.
