Guido Eramo, 88, of Enola, PA, passed away at his home on Friday, October 14, 2016. He was born in Castiglione, Italy, and then immigrated to Minersville, PA in 1948 where he met his beloved bride of 52 years, Sonya A. (Kozura) Eramo, who preceded him in death in November, 2009.
He was a Tool Maker and Designer with AMP Incorporated for 27 years until his retirement in 1990. Since then he enjoyed his family, golf, tending his garden, and was an avid bocce player, continuing to enjoy the sport until shortly before his passing. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Hershey Italian Lodge, and West Shore Sons of Italy.
Guido is survived by his two children, Lydia Johnson, wife of David Johnson of Enola, and Mark Eramo, husband of Alisa Eramo of Blandon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Guido’s visitation and funeral at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 225 Salt Road, Enola, PA on Thursday, October 20, 2016 beginning at 9:00AM followed by funeral Mass at 11:00AM. The interment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill, PA immediately following the funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations could be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or Compassionate Care Hospice.
