Helen Luckenbaugh, age 93 of Marysville passed away peacefully Saturday, March 30, 2019 at her home.
She was born December 20, 1925 to the late Forrest and Helen (Toland) Sanders in Marysville, PA.
She is survived by her son, Bradley and daughter-in-law, Janell of Mechanicsburg and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Elmer (Lucky) Luckenbaugh and infant daughter, Linda Luckenbaugh and her brother Harry Sanders and sisters, Freda Soutner and Betty Miller.
Helen was a life member of Marysville Church of God, and graduate of Marysville High School class of 1943. She attended Maryville Rye Senior Center and Golden Age.
She enjoyed going to their cabin in Potter County and to Maine’s ocean and lighthouses.
Helen loved feeding the birds, big band music, the Lawrence Welk show, and all animals, especially cats.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00am, and services 11:00am at Sullivan Funeral Home, 51 N. Enola Drive, Enola, PA. 17025. Her Pastor, Roger Scheuing officiating.
Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband and daughter in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville PA. We would like to thank Homeland Hospice for their compassionate care.
