Janet F. Heckert, died peacefully in her home on Saturday January 17, 2026. Janet would have been 91 on January 23, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband Donald B. Heckert and her daughter Beverly Heckert Bastardi.
She is survived by her son Donald C. Heckert (Carolyn) and 5 granddaughter’s. Nicole Ryan Olley (Donald), Samantha Benke (Krisztian), Katy Smoot (Matthew), Jennifer Knox (David), Stephanie Bastardi (William) and 10 great grandchildren.
Janet loved her home in Florida and keeping in touch with special friends Ginny, Ellie and Linda. Janet and her husband Don were avid campers and loved riding in their golf cart visiting and talking with other campers.
Visitation will be at 10 am Tuesday, January 27, 2026, with services starting at 11 am at Mount Calvary United Methodist Church, 175 North Fairview Ave, West Hanover, 17112.
