John Charles Grub, 90, of Enola, Pennsylvania, joined his beloved wife in eternal rest on January 21, 2021. He was born in Yonkers, New York on February 10, 1930. He was married to his beloved wife of 51 years, Dorothy, on July 30, 1965.
His career, mostly in the credit and collections field, included working for Atlantic Oil, MTA Truck Driving school, and PHEAA, from where he retired. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS Newport News (CA-148).
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise Grub, and his loving wife, Dorothy.
He is survived by his sister, Elsie Martineau of Palm City, Florida, son, John Grub of Norwood, Massachusetts, son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Tina Grub of Enola, Pennsylvania, son and daughter-in-law David and Lorraine Grub of Newport, Pennsylvania, daughter Holly Grub of Rochester, New York, step-daughter and son-in-law Doreen and Michael Swaim of Carlton, Georgia and several nieces.
Interment at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 901 N. 6th St. Harrisburg PA 17102.
