Lester R. Warner 84 of Shermans Dale, PA passed away March 15th, 2024, at Harrisburg Hospital. He was a 1957 graduate of Perry Joint High School. He served in the Air Force Reserves for 6 years during the Cuban missile crisis. Les worked for New Harrisburg Truck Body for 42 years. He was a mechanic, who worked on truck bodies and hydraulics. He is son of the late Lester R. Warner Sr. and Miriam M (Frownfelter) Warner.
He is survived by Arlene G. (Comp) Warner whom he was married to for 57 years. A Son Dale E. Warner and his wife Carlene L. (Tobias) Warner of Duncannon, PA. His sister Audrey (Warner) Smith of Port Richey Florida, and a brother Clark W. Warner and his wife Valerie (Adams) Warner of York Springs PA. Two nephews Ryan Warner, and Bret Warner.
Les loved his family dearly and was there whenever you needed him. He loved woodworking and helped to build his own house. He made many pieces of furniture from scratch including a roll top desk, a wall clock, kitchen cabinets, a hutch and toys. Another hobby of his was restoring old cars. He restored a 1948 Willys Jeepster that he owned since the 1960’s. He was a loving and kind man who will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola from 10AM-11AM. Services will begin at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
