A. Lucille (Manbeck) Shaffer, 87, of Mechanicsburg passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg.
Born in Enola, PA, she was the daughter to the late Lester Monroe and M. Theresa (Gutshall) Manbeck. Her husband Charles F. Shaffer, predeceased her in 1991.
She was a graduate of Enola High School, Class of 1945.
She retired from PP&L after 45 years of service as a cashier in the Customer Service Center, and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are 3 brothers, Leroy Manbeck and wife, Claire, Edwin Manbeck and wife, Nancy, and Norman Manbeck; a sister, Ruth Hill and husband, Donald; a step-granddaughter, Kimberly Wilbur and husband, and step-great-granddaughter; 5 nephews, Ronald Manbeck and wife, Ed Manbeck, Duane Manbeck and wife, Michael Manbeck and wife, and Craige Hill and wife, and 4 nieces, Debbie Dessinger and Husband, Tina Shover and Husband, Joy Manbeck and Husband, and Theresa Manbeck and Husband, 3 Great Nephews and 6 Great Nieces.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 10AM-11AM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 4685 Mt. Zion Rd., Enola, PA 17025.
Services will begin at 11AM at the church.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, PA..
