Mae E. Homer, 89, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. She was the widow of Harold M. Homer.
Mae was born on September 13, 1932, in Millersburg, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Mildred Fulkroad. She was employed with the Bell Telephone Company until her retirement after 28 years of service. Mae’s favorite past-times were watching professional basketball and playing bingo. She and Harold enjoyed “RV-ing” and traveled to many states as part of an RV group. She was a member of Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
Mae is survived by her daughter, Joetta Rutman (David), of York Haven and her son, Douglas Homer, of White Rock, British Columbia. She has two grandchildren: Nathan Rutman (Sarah) of Pittsburgh and Caitlin Petrello (Jason) of Camp Hill. She has three great-grandchildren: Sadie, Judah, and Lily.
Mae is also survived by three sisters: Pauline Klinger, June Walter (Robert), and Dharla Maiden (Terry) all of Millersburg.
A private burial service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
