
Mae E. Myers, 89, of Mechanicsburg passed away on May 16, 2016 at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born near Blain, PA, she was the daughter to the late Merle R. and Stella Mae (Harter) Stricker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Myers, and a son, Donald E. Myers.
She was a school teacher at Green Grove School on Couchtown Road, Perry County, and later employed by the Commonwealth of PA.
Mae was a member of the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church Quilters, the Cumberland County Farm Women, PARSE, First United Methodist Church of Mechanicsburg, and the Cumberland County Historical Society.
Surviving are her children, Larry S. Myers (Audrey) of Enola, Kathy E. (Marston) Semanko (Joe), Keith E. Marston (Sheila) of Carlisle, and a daughter-in-law, Sue Myers of Oklahoma as well as five grandchildren (Ben, Nick and Andy Semanko, Scott Myers, and Dana Myers) and one great-grandchild (Joey Semanko).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 10AM-11AM at Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola.
Services will begin at 11AM.
Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be given to the Veterans Memorial in Silver Spring Township, 8 Flowers Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
