Marianna J. Pirkey (nee Kell) died November 23, 2021 at Country Meadows in Mechanicsburg. Marianna was born October 11, 1933 in Ickesburg, PA and lived for many years in Enola. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar, a son Allan, and sister Nina Lilley of Port Royal.
She is survived by son Harley (Doug) Pirkey and his wife Deborah of Lenhartsville, a daughter-in-law, Evelyn (Allan’s widow), son Gregg of Newville, son Timothy of Goldsboro, three grandchildren, and a brother, David Kell of Ickesburg.
Marianna enjoyed hummingbirds, hanging out at the camper, square dancing and cooking for her family and was a thirty-two-year member of Steadfast Chapter no. 479, OES PA, Inc.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11 AM at Sullivan Funeral Home, 51 N. Enola Dr., Enola, PA 17025. A memorial service will be held at 12 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations to National Audubon Society will be appreciated.
