Mary Ann E. Guerrisi of Dauphin, PA, passed away on July 20, 2025, in her home surrounded by family, at the age of 86. She was the daughter of Adam and Pauline M. Schmidt of Harrisburg, PA. She is predeceased by her husband Samuel; sister Justine Kreifels and her husband, John. She is survived by her sister Pauline C. Schmidt, daughter, Julianne (Guerrisi) Kenno and husband, Mark; son, William Burrows and his wife Holly; and son Patrick Guerrisi. She had ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and worked at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg and Wellspan Hospital in York. She was a professional violinist playing with the Harrisburg, Hershey, and West Shore symphonies. She gave music lessons and participated in fundraising for Fort Hunter Days and AM580 Catholic radio. Mary Ann enjoyed gardening and traveled extensively.
Mary Ann was a parishioner of Saint Matthew’s Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Matthew’s Church, 607 Stoney Creek Dr., Dauphin, PA 17018.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 9AM-11AM at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 607 Stoney Creek Dr., Dauphin, PA 17018. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Tuesday. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
