
Michael Bruce Anderson, 55, of Mechanicsburg died at his home Jan. 9. He lived life as if the sun shone every day, and he shared that with others through his many acts of kindness.
Mike was the owner of Dr. Dessert Vending, a company he started in 1991 in Harrisburg. He was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and had a divinity degree from Moody Bible Institute.
Mike was the love of his wife Kim Strong’s life. They had only 20 years together, but they fit a lifetime of love and memories into them. He is also survived by two daughters he loved dearly, Faith Anderson of Elizabethtown and Emily Berdy of Pittsburgh; three brothers, E.J. Anderson of Mechanicsburg; Jim Anderson and his wife, Ma Hui of East Berne, NY; Marty Anderson of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Shelley Anderson of Mechanicsburg; and beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mary Anderson; sister Timmee Suhr and her husband Jock Suhr; and brother John Anderson of Mechanicsburg.
A memorial service for Mike will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Radisson Hotel, 1150 Camp Hill Bypass.
