Patricia (Roeser) Husler, 87, of Lancaster, formerly of West Fairview, PA, passed away of natural causes on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy, PA. She was the wife of Kenneth H. Husler, with whom she would have been married to 63 years on January 27, 2014. Patricia would have celebrated her 88th birthday on February 14, 2014.
Patricia, a 1943 graduate of the former Lemoyne High School, had retired from Retail Credit Company (now Equifax) in Harrisburg, before becoming a homemaker for most of her adult life.
Born in West Fairview, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helene (DeWalt) Roeser.
Surviving in addition to her husband is one child, Kenneth M. Husler married to Linda (Barber) of Lancaster; 2 grandchildren, Kristen M. Bound of Doylestown and Matthew S. Husler of New Cumberland and their spouses Christopher P. Bound and Larissa (Grill) Husler; and 2 great-grandchildren, Aiden C. and Nicholas M. Bound of Doylestown.
Patricia enjoyed horseback riding in her younger days, family reunions, camping, reading, and listening to all varieties of music. Patricia was a loving member of Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church, where she experienced much joy and fellowship.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 10AM-11AM at the Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola PA.
Services will begin at 11AM.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made in Patricia’s memory to either Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 22 Salt Road, Enola PA 17025; or Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster PA 17604-4125.
