Paul Eugene Ross, 102, gained his angel wings on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Paul was known as Pap to everyone he knew. He was born on September 25th, 1921, in West Fairview, PA. Pap had a smile that would light up any room. The love that he had for life was admired by everyone around him.
Pap is survived by his son, Kenneth Ross and wife Suzanne, daughter-in-law’s Sue Ross and Maureen Ross, grandchildren Angela Ross, Joshua Ross, Caitlin Ross, Zachary Ross, Meghan Hoff and husband Mason, and his great-grandchildren Tyler Phillips, Reghan Little, Frances Ross, and Mia Hoff.
Pap loved spending time with his family and being a part of his grandkids’ milestones.
Pap was a proud WWII Veteran in the Navy. While serving, Pap was on ship USS Murphy DD- 603. After years of service, Paul retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot where he worked as a dispatcher.
After a long life full of love, happiness, and service, he has joined his wife Frances, sister Gerry, son Paul, and grandson Joe Glasser in heaven.
A celebration of life will be held for Pap at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Veteran’s Association in Paul’s name.
