Philip Joseph (Joey) Spagnolo Jr, 78 of Harrisburg, PA passed away at home Tuesday, January 21, 2025.  He was born December 15,1946 in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Philip and Thelma Viola (Ola) Spagnolo. 

Joey was a 1964 graduate of the former John Harris High School and attended Windham College, Putney, Vermont.  He was an Architectural Assistant to his father who practiced in Harrisburg and an employee of Hershey Creamery.

He had a passion for motorcycles, cars and collectibles.  As an only child he had a special relationship with his many cousins in the Bianchi and Roberto families.  He especially enjoyed the Thursday night Italian dinners and holiday meals at the Roberto and Bianchi homes.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM and service 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Sullivan Funeral Home, 51 N. Enola Dr., Enola, PA 17025.

Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.

  1. Joey and i shared our same names – except for the J lr part. We were second cousins He was a kind and pleasant person. Never stopped our tradition of exchanging Christmas greetings. Rest in peace, Joey.

  2. Joey was such a car enthusiast, and I really enjoyed talking about anything motorsports with him. I’ll always remember how he wore an “Abarth” hat, and always had a smile when we met eyes.
    It’s trivial, but it’s how I’m going to picture Joey my remaining days.
