Phyllis Smith Heller died Monday, June 21, 2021 at the Gardens of West Shore in Camp Hill, PA. She was born on April 8, 1930, in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Arthur Smith and Bertha Smith George. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Heller.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Kathy and husband Rick Stonebraker of Enola, PA, her son, Todd Heller and wife Amy, 3 step grandchildren, two grandchildren, Scott Stonebraker and wife Andrea of Harrisburg, PA, and Tara and husband Randy Magaro of Carlisle, PA, 2 great-granddaughters, Eva and Taylor, and her half-sister, Brenda George of Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her step-mother, Ernestine Hart Smith, her step-father, John George, her sister, Clarice Jones, and brother, Arthur Smith.
Phyllis graduated from Newport Township, PA class of 1948.
She loved tole painting on saws and other wooden items, winning several ribbons at the Bloomsburg Fair. She shared her love for art by teaching others at her home.
Private memorial services with burial at Albert Cemetery, Wright Township, Mountaintop, PA at the convenience of the family.
