Richard B. Gipe, Sr. 72, of Enola, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at home.
Born in Harrisburg, he was the son to the late Howard B. and Beatrice (Irwin) Gipe.
He was a retired truck driver from Consolidated Freight Company, and he enjoyed meeting people while he was working at Giant Food Store in Enola.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #776 and the White Rock Camp; and he attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Enola.
Surviving is his wife, Margy; 4 sons; Richard B.; David I.; Bryan E., and Bradley A. Gipe; a daughter, Diana L. Gipe; a brother, Donald E. Gipe; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and his dog, “Mia”.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 116 South Enola Dr., Enola, PA 17025 from 10AM-11AM.
Services will begin at 11AM.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
