Robert E. Scott, 77, son of the late Lester and Dorothy (Bryner) Scott and life-long resident of Enola, died March 5, 2018 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Bob graduated from Enola High School in 1958 and retired from Ames True Temper after 43 years of employment. He was a member of the Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the Enola Sportsmen’s Association.
His hobbies included spending time with his family, woodworking, hunting, gardening, and relaxing on his porch.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother Lester Scott and sister Judy Loper.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janet (McCormick) Scott; four children: Susan Berry (Robert), Robert, Jr. (Deborah), Roger (Marian), and Randy (Caroline); five grandchildren: Bobby Berry, Michael Berry, April Scott, Lauren Jurick, and Randy, Jr.; five great-grandchildren; and sister Vicky Barrick.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11AM at Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to Enola Emmanuel United Methodist Church at 22 Salt Road, Enola, PA 17025.
